Im pretty much all for freedom of choice, but as for others I dont understand why people let others (people with fashion experience or not) dictate to them what they should and shouldn’t be wearing, or whats ‘out’ and ‘in’.

I did when a teen cause I wanted so badly to be the same as everyone else and to be accepted by all…..but I was miserable too. Now I wear what I like and to heck with “fashion”. I like casual and easy care…no dry cleaning stuff.
Good questions, I don’t know but something worth thinking about is, is fashion what looks good or is Fashion what the majority of people THINK look good? If its the latter then not only should you ask one person but you should ask a number of people.
I try not to but I cant help it, I dont want to be walking around in something that went out 3 years ago.
easy answer, the people who are so called followers of fashion have not got the brains to think for themselves
to fit in. as simple as that. some people do not want to stand out from the crowd. although some people follow fashion merely because they love it.
people rely on others, because they’re afraid that they will get the wrong thing, and that people will juge them if they do end up getting something wrong. At the end of they day i think “fuck em”. cos i wear band merch of heavy metal. My clothes are quite expensive, but they’re made to last. I’d rather buy clothes myself and know that i look okay, than have somebody tell me what to wear and look like the biggest twat.
