Hello,
I am an art student and i wanted to be a fashion photographer back then, but later i had intrest in working in fashion designing. I told a teacher about my intrest and she said that its very competitive and i should start a porfolio. I thought that was a great idea, and i want to get into this university in New York City so i was wondering; What would make a Great Fashion Designing Porfolio?

sketches of your designs is always great
do an entire collection which reflects your inspiration,vision and concept
render them and ensure that they are as proffesional as possible
you can look at fashion illustration books or media for guidance
if you can make/tailor your own design into reality and photograph them in a mock photoshoot, that would be awesome
