So this is my last year of school. I’m totally happy! My parents [ofcourse] want me to go to collage right after high school. Though everyone in my family say i’m amazing with computers. I wanna be a fashion designer, what classes should consider taking?
oh..excuse the bad grammar [4am here]; also i’m in Detroit, Michigan but i am willing to travel outside of Detroit.
- I am doing a fashion project and was wondering, to get a head start, what would i have to include?
- What are some interesting facts about fashion photography?
- Does anybody know a fashion website to find a job in fashion industry?
- Is there a fashion designer to send my designs to?
- What is a good alternative ranking system for a fashion show?

Hm, I’d say it’s less about what classes and more about which school you go to. A design or arts school will offer the classes you need, whereas the average liberal arts school will not.
You might want to take an English course. Seeing as how you misspelled college.
Depends on the school. Did you apply to a specialized school like the Fashion Institute in NY or Rhode Island School of Design? They probably have core subjects that you have to take and then all your courses are in your chosen design subjects. If you applied to a liberal arts college, you will be able to take lots of courses in areas that interest you. I agree with the other answerer that a writing course can always be helpful.
To tell you the truth, I’m not good at fashion designing and I don’t have any idea about classes regarding to this course, but I can give you a site where in fashion designing is included..hope it will help you. Good Luck! ^ ^
