The use of furs is a major issue. In addition, in the world’s current economic condition, it is a concern to many that the fashion world is using too much money and resources that can be used for something for useful.
For example: fur and the actual money spent. VOGUE spends millions on photoshoots that can end up not being used for the magazine anyway.
another problem is the death of Alexander McQueen. He was an extremely prominent figure in the fashion world and his death a few weeks ago took hundreds by surprise. His show was cancelled.
Another is the issue of actual financial struggle in fashion houses that really shouldn’t be having a problem. For example, if you check out Zac Posen’s most recent collection, you’ll find that he has no gowns as a result of his financial condition. There are others beside Zac that are suffering from this problem however, in Zac’s collection it is most evident.
