I’m trying to coordinate a presentable outfit for a cocktail party, and I’m wondering if wearing a pinstripe shirt with a pinstripe vest over it is a fashion faux pas. The diameter between pinstripes on each article of clothing is different, but not by too much. Can someone please help me?

too many stripes, try a solid color shirt under the vest, it will look more “put together” and professional.
