I’m planning a fashion show for my 22th birthday party. I have everything together except for food and drinks. What kind of food should I serve at my party along with cocktail drinks?

I would go for finger type foods. There are a lot of them out there to fix ahead of time, so, that on your day, there is not as much to do. have fun! happy b-day!
fashion shows are all about canapes! you want small bites that people can pop in their mouth and is just one mouth full. otherwise any bigger and they will not be able to hold their drinks. Typical canapes are things like this…http://uktv.co.uk/food/homepage/sid/5994
However you could do a theme for your party and canapes. I went to one and they had cool miniture foods so mini fish and chips and tiny burgers.
For drinks why not do champagne cocktails – but instead of champagne (if on a budget) use sparking white wine or prosecco (which is actually what you use for champagne cocktails) then mix fruit flavourings like peach or blackcurrent to make bellinis.)
Have a great evening!
Well you would want something more elegant than your standard cheese and crackers, but still dainty to be appropriate for a fashion show. You’d probably want to go for things a little on the (or appearing to be) fancy side, such as maybe crab puffs or shrimp rings and things like that. If you don’t like seafood, I don’t blame you! but you could go for something like carpaccio (very thin slices of cold beef) and baked goat cheese served with baguette. Or if you want less fancy, go for things like a cheese ball and fancy crackers, or bruschetta, or bacon wrapped water chestnuts in tomato sauce (they sound yucky but they sure are good). Try to stay away from anything too saucy or messy so the models and guests don’t drip on their clothing! Have fun and Happy (early) Birthday!
