are only designers and exclusive people invited? I want to go to a fashion show during fashion week in New York but I’m not sure how that works.

Yeah you have to be invited, so unless you know a person that has been invited to the shows you are not getting in. But their are plenty of designers showing outside of the tents and you don’t need an invite. They are small upcoming designers and also it’s much cheaper then showing in the tents. Look around at some clubs in order to see whom is showing.
