more specifically – I want to go into fashion writing so I need Fashion Journalism or Fashion Merchandising. I would also prefer a school where I can get the degree online but I can’t figure out which one is reputable. Thank you for your help.

the only way to find out what kind of school is to actually visit it..or to get some literature on it or to google it.
It’s unlikely that you’re going to be able to find this program online, and have it be a respected program. Most of the online fashion-related programs are complete rip-offs.
And importantly – fashion-related careers are *extremely* competitive to get into. A lot of the jobs you get, right out of school, are based on networking and experience. The experience you get via internships and co-ops. The networking you get via your professors, and those internships.
So if you were to go online, it’s likely that you’d graduate and be unemployable. Or maybe you’d find a job in retail (a job you could have gotten without the degree.)
I’m sorry, but I feel I need to be honest, so you don’t end up on the wrong path.
It’d be far better for you to find a “brick and mortar” school that is reputable and that is *regionally accredited* (this is important), where you can study something related to the career you want. If, however, you *must* study online – if getting to a campus is literaly impossible for you – then at least find a program that’s tied to a reptuable, brick and mortar university.
